Display and Build:

The Desire 526 Plus is a new youthful phone targeted at a lower mid range price point by HTC. It’s weight is just above 150 gms and the phone is reasonably compact and mid-sized with a 4.7” qHD (960*540) Super LCD2 Display which is nice to look at and is sharp at 267ppi and very bright. It is available in great colour combinations by mixing classic colours with orange and blue.

Internal Specifications and Operating System

The phone runs an Octa-core 1.7 GHz Mediatek processor and 1GB RAM . The sensors included are an accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass. The storage capacity of the phone is available in a 16GB flavour which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone is powered by a 2000mah battery for your needs.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and is skinned with HTC’s custom Sense UI. No upgrade to Android 5.0 has been announced yet.

Camera

The Desire 526 Plus has a 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash capable of FullHD video recording and a front facing 2MP camera for video calling and self shots. The rear camera features various modes like face/smile detection and HDR. The phone has a reasonably good camera for the price point and is a go to for its imaging capabilities.

Connectivity
